Setting the overtime rate = 2.00 for OT worked till next day

Description

Below is the  solution for setting the overtime rate  = 2.00 for OT worked  till next day.  (For OT worked on the same day, the OT rate is 1.5 times.)

Solution

Step 1: Maintenance—>chedule Maintenance—Time Formula Table, add the formula:

Formula Code

Description

OT rate (1.5 Times)

Result Location

Overtime 1 (Original)

Formula

IIF(CM_OT1_HOUR>=6, 6, CM_OT1_HOUR)

Explanation: If the  total Overtime 1 is more  the  or equal to 6 hours  (because 6pm until 12am  is 6 hours), then  just show 6 hours,  otherwise if less than  6 hours  then  just follow the  actual calculation. The result will show in the total overtime 1 field.

Formula Code

2

Description

OT rate  (2.O Times)

Result Location

Overtime 2 (Original)

Formula

IIF(CM_OT1_HOUR>6, CM_OT1_HOUR-6, O)

Explanation:  If the  total  Overtime  1 is  more  than  6 hours  (because 6pm  until  12am  is  6 hours), then  total  overtime  1  deduct 6  hours,   otherwise  just  left  it  zero.  The  result  will  show  in  the  total overtime 2 field

Step 2: Maintenance—Schedule Maintenance—Work Schedule, select the Formula page, tick Apply formula, then  click Insert and select the  formula as create in the  Step 1.

Step  3: Maintenance—Schedule  Maintenance—Workgroup,  on  the  Overtime  page, Working  Day’s

Overtime Section 1 select 1.5 Times [HR>] and Overtime >ection 2 select 2.O Times [HR>]
