Special Overtime rounding formula

Description

Below shows  the  solution for setting overtime so it will be rounded up as below:

0min - 24mins = round  to 0

25mins - 54mins = round  to 30min

55mins -60mins = round  to 60min

 

Example: OT worked  = 2hrs 45mins. Should be round  to 2hrs 30

 

Solution

Use time formula. Go under  Time Formula Table and  add in the  below formula. Then insert this formulas into the work schedule.

 

Result Location: Overtime 1 (Original) Formula:

IIF(ROUND((CM_OT1_HOUR-INT(CM_OT1_HOUR))*60,0)>=55,INT(CM_OT1_HOUR)+1,

IIF(ROUND((CM_OT1_HOUR-INT(CM_OT1_HOUR))*60,0)>=25, INT(CM_OT1_HOUR)+.5, INT(CM_OT1_HOUR)))
